The Republic of Nynex is a spin off of The Hydrogen Project, my personal blog for talking about music, computers, and capoeira. The Republic of Nynex is primarily an outlet for any artistic endeavours. The name comes from an installation I presented at the 2010 Megapolis Festival in Baltimore, which used a genetic algorithm to splice together bits and pieces of phone messages and Creative Commons-licensed music. Nynex refers to the former phone company, now part of Verizon, which encompassed New York and all of New England, save Connecticut.

We (the royal ‘we’) are on SoundCloud and Twitter and Facebook.
